Our Team

       Tosho Dimitrov was born in 1987 in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. He started his education in the classical guitar at the age of seven. After graduating the NMA “prof. Pancho Vladigerov” in Sofia, Bulgaria, he continued his education with a Master degree study at Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Linz, Austria. During the period 2005-2015 he was an active participant in many International classical guitar competitions and festivals throughout Europe. He has taken part in more than 20 masterclasses and has attended the lessons of many magnificent teachers, such as Alexander Swete, Hubert Käppel, Eliot Fisk, Joaquín Clerch, Gerhard Reichenbach, George Vassilev, Zoran Dukic, Nikita Koshkin, Thomas Offermann, Costas Cotsiolis, etc.

      Since 2008 Tosho has been working also as a teacher. First, in Sofia, and then in music schools in Traun, Lembach, and Neustift, Austria. In 2015 he stopped his active concert activities and dedicated himself entirely to his personal development and work as a teacher. Nowadays, he is teaching at the NMU “Lubomir Pipkov” and Deutsche Schule Sofia, Bulgaria. His students have won more than 100 prizes from national and international classical guitar competitions.

     Tosho Dimitrov is the art director of Sofia Guitar Festival.

 

Teodor Grozdanov

 

     Teodor Grozdanov was born in 1991 in Etropole and started playing the guitar at age of 14. His first teacher was Simeon Simov. After he graduated from the National School of Finance and Business he attended the National Academy of Music “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” where he studied classical guitar with Rossen Blakanski.

    He is director and main teacher of “Sofia Guitar School” and he is teaching plenty of students in different ages. Apart from his teaching career, Teodor is also an active musician and performer and he is working with famous Bulgarian singers in various music genres.
